What’s included in the retreat price?
Three meals a day are included in the admission. Snacks will be available between meal times for purchase.
Lodging and entrance to all talks and workshops is included in the retreat price.

What’s the refund or cancellation policy?
The Retreat is kept to a small amount of participants to best facilitate the experience of community that the Retreat embodies. Our cancellation policy is thus designed to encourage our participants to not make last-minute changes that will make it hard for those waiting to attend to register. Retreat entrance fees are transferrable. Prior to July 31, 2010, you may cancel your retreat registration for a refund of the retreat fee minus a $50 administrative charge per registration. After that date, we are counting on your attendance!

Can we use PayPal instead of WePay for registration?
Many people have asked us about using PayPal to register instead of WePay.  Although at one time we did use PayPal, it does not serve the needs of small organizations, such as ourselves, as effectively as  WePay does.  For this reason, we appreciate your taking the time to apply for WePay.

Registration Information: Since Christ the Healer, United Church of Christ (CTH UCC) sponsors the Raw & Living Spirit Retreat, this name may appear on credit card statements or other records of payment. This will happen because Christ the Healer, UCC sponsors the Raw & Living Spirit Retreat.

How much religion will this retreat emphasize?
Our retreat focuses on how each of us can support each other in experiencing wellness in its many dimensions — physical, emotional, interpersonal and spiritual.  We honor the integrity of each individual’s personal and cultural values.  The spirituality we spontaneously experience when we gather, share time in Nature, eat, learn and have fun together, transcends all religion.
Can I participate in the kitchen? How do I volunteer?
One of the ways we foster community is in the kitchen. All attendees are encouraged to assist with preparation and/or cleanup of a few meals at the retreat. Sign-up sheets will be available upon arrival.

What are the shared cabins like?
The cabins are rustic with shared bathrooms and a shared kitchen/lounge area. The beds are bunk beds.

Can I bring my own tent?
Yes! There are many tenting spots at Camp Adams, and the options range from sites close to the action and other people to spots that are quite secluded.

If I bring my own tent, where do I access bathroom facilities?
Tent campers can use the bathroom facilities of the cabin closest to their tent site.

If I’m driving to the retreat, how do I get to Camp Adams?
Directions are posted under Venue.

If I’m flying in to Portland PDX airport, how do I get to Camp Adams?
Use the directions above.
